Fabio Studer

About Fabio Studer: Seemingly part of the freeski scene forever, Fabio Studer is still only 28 years old. However, it's the perfect age to start his second career as big mountain freerider and the Austrian entered the Freeride World Tour with a bang in 2013 when he finished runner-up at only his second event on the tour at the prestigious FWT stop in Chamonix. Fabio stems from Koblach, a small village on the border to Switzerland. He calls nearby Silvretta Montafon his home mountain, where he entered the freeski scene as an ambitious freestyle skier following a youth spent on the race track. Soon enough, however, he veered off into the backcountry and proved himself a great all-round skier compiling a multitude of great video segments with movie productions like Rage, Headbud and lately the infamous Legs of Steel crew. The Hip-Hop fan was also part of the winning European team at the 2013 Skiers Cup. Fabio joined the Marker Völkl Freeski Team for the 2015 season, and considering the importance of experience in big mountain freeriding, he is heading into another decade as a successful freeski pro.
