ABOUT NICK GOEPPER

The 19-year-old Nick Goepper is without a doubt the big shooting star of the American freestyle scene winning X Games Gold in Aspen last season as well as finishing on the podium of many major slopestyle events in the past two years. This is all the more astonishing since he is from Lawrenceburg, Indiana – a rather flat midwestern state far away from the big US ski resorts! Nevertheless the well-rounded sports talent already started skiing at the age of 5 and has become one of the most talented riders of his generation. During the past few winters he chased the competition circuit through mountain resorts all over the American continent and increasingly made his presence felt. A first highlight was a victory at the Dumont Cup 2010 when he applied his incredible trick arsenal to the slopestyle course in Sunday River, Maine. Ever since Nick Goepper is definitely a force to reckon with in any freestyle skiing competition, the product of which was the overall title in the AFP Slopestyle Ranking 2012/13.
